CBT life-coaching can help you open your mind to what is possible and support you to transform your life step by step. Our thinking profoundly affects the way we feel and behave. CBT life-coaching focuses on tackling self-defeating thinking and replacing it with a problem solving approach. 

Positive psychology coaching is an evidence-based coaching practice informed by theories and research of positive psychology for the enhancement of resilience, achievement and wellbeing.  This can include focusing on several areas that you might sabotage your attempts at making changes or progress.  These include unhealthy habits that get in the way of your wellbeing e.g. low stress management resources, poor nutrition, lack of exercise, unhelpful sleep patterns. It may also focus on ways in which you sabotage success or achievements by avoidance, procrastination or difficulties in prioritisation. There are several unhelpful thinking patterns that can also undermine your success and progress such as perfectionist beliefs, beliefs underlying lack of self-confidence or assertiveness and lack of self-acceptance. 

CBT life-coaching sessions typically start with identifying what the problems or difficulties are.  Then we focus on selecting goals - what is it that you want?  Then we focus on what you can do, considering consequences, and decisions before generating an action plan that includes ensuring the foundations of success and wellbeing are in place first.
